Lame of the Year?

Only 12 days into 2009 and we already have a candidate for “Lame of the Year!”  Well his name is Marc Schrenker and it looks like he attempted to fake his death by letting his plane crash while he parachuted to the ground.  There are a few reasons why someone would think up a plan like this for example your wife just filed for divorce or your financial management company is under investigation and you just had a $533,500 judgment against your company.

Now what makes it all lame is that while he was flying he called in air traffic control and claimed that his windshield imploded and he was bleeding from the glass.  So the military stepped in and sent some fighter jets to check  on the plane.  The pilots noticed that there was no one in the plane, the door was open and that auto pilot was on. So it looks like Marc had a parachute and jumped mid flight and let the plane fly on auto pilot to crash some 200 miles away.  Not smart at all Marc, innocent people could have been killed dumb*ss.  As of right now the search is on for the lame.

Again Marc is my candidate for “Lame of the Year.” What you think?

UPDATE: Marc was caught at a campground in Florida with his wrist slit with blood everywhere and mumbling “die”.  Definitely lame material.
